FAQ
Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Eyelash extensions are non-damaging when applied correctly. When done by a trained artist your natural lashes will maintain their health. Your artist will review with you what makes our services safe prior to your appointment.
How long do extensions last?
Every person sheds 2-6 natural lashes a day. The amount of lashes you shed will determine how fast you need to come back for a fill in. The average time is 2-3 weeks. Proper home care will extend the life of your extensions.
does waxing really work?
Waxing regularly greatly decreases the speed in which your hair will grow back. Every time you wax the hair will grow back thinner and softer causing less discomfort every appointment.
how can i tell if i am allergic to my eyelash extensions?
Allergic reactions to eyelash extensions will be quite noticeable. You will experience discomfort, redness, watery eyes and itchiness within 24 hours of your appointment. Unfortunately allergies can develop at any time and no one can predict them. Please contact us if you experience any of this.
How long does tinting last?
The length of your eyebrow and or eyelash tint depends on many factors. It depends on how much you work out, shower, wash your face and swim. The more often you do these things, the faster the tint will dissolve.
does microdermabrasion hurt?
No, microdermabrasion is a painless, non-invasive exfoliating procedure that is very beneficial for those with wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation or sun damage.
how long will my teeth whitening last?
There is no guarantee on how long your results after your teeth whitening session will last. It is based off personal preference and your habits. Some people may not be happy with the results from their first session and come back immediately for another round. Drinking coffee, red wine etc will make the staining come back faster. No one can tell you how long you will be happy with the results because it depends on what you want your teeth to look like.
i’ve seen and heard of lash lifts causing eyelashes to be burned and singed. how do i know that’s not going to happen to me?
When a lash lift is applied with improper technique it causes the ends of the lash to burn and look similar to a split end on your hair. The reason this happens is because the product is not meant to touch the ends of your lashes. With my technique developed over three different trainings with three different companies, I have not had a single client with singed lashes. The health of your lashes are my number one priority when you come to Elite Esthetics.
